City of Arcola Water & Sewer Department
Arcola City Hall handles all billing issues for water service and is also the contact point for questions or emergencies. Water usage is metered at each property in gallon increments and monitored daily using our Beacon Smart Water Software that captures usage, potential leaks and utility disruptions.
New water accounts MUST complete a water application (below) in addition to a photo I.D. and $100 deposit.
Persons constructing NEW homes and businesses within the City must fill out a Application and Permit for Water and Sewer Services in order to begin the process to connect to the City's systems. The City will verify fees involved based on the type of connection and fees approved in the fee schedule listed on the application. All fees must be paid prior to work being completed.
A complete water billing schedule is located on the right sidebar. Payments can be made at City Hall during normal business hours. You may also print an ACH Authorization form which allows automatic payment of your utility bill from your bank account with no additional user fee. Using our AUTOPAY method is a convenient way to pay your utility bill and remove the worry of late fees! Our ACH form is available to print below.
In addition, you may also take advantage of our new online Bill Pay located in the center carousel on the home screen. Please note: A 2.99% (or a minimum of $2.95) per card transaction processing fee will apply.
